All sounds that you hear were captured during my two children's stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Track A blends the sounds directly from voice memos and videos on my phone using reverb and delay effects to create what I imagine their little premie existence may have sounded like. It includes the first words my wife spoke to our children, and many other precious moments.
Track B takes the same raw sounds and pushes the boundaries further with more heavy use of effects and filters to recreate the fever dream that it is to be a NICU parent.
This is dedicated to the nurses and doctors at the Baylor Scott and White All Saints Medical Center NICU that kept my kids alive for nearly 40 days during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March of 2020.
